EA Games has launched the Sims Social on Facebook.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the widely popular Sims game series, it is a life-simulation game where you carry out daily activities with virtual people called “Sims” in a household in SimCity.

The Facebook game will now allow these interactions with your Facebook friends. It is also reported that The Sims Social comes out of testing mode with a staggering 4.8 million users already. Seeing as it’s the best-selling PC game in history and EA’s history of well-made games, the Facebook version should show promise. Only time will tell on that front.
